About Exam

JCECE stands for Jharkhand combined entrance competitive exam. it is organized via the Jharkhand combined entrance competitive exam Board (JCECEB) for admission to B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc. & Animal Husbandry and BHMS. applicants having domicile evidence of being from Jharkhand are the only ones eligible to apply.
 

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for this exam is given according to their courses in detail below:-

Medical Courses

  • The age of the applicants in search of admission in medical courses must not be less than 17 years of age or should reach the required age by 31 December 2016.
  • Applicants should have passed 10+ 2 or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks.
  • Applicants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Biology or biotechnology as the compulsory subjects.

Engineering Courses

  • There's no age restriction for applicants applying for engineering courses.
  • Applicants should have passed 10+ 2 or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45% marks.
  •  Applicants should have passed 10+ 2 or equivalent with Maths and Physics as the compulsory subjects.
     

Application Fees

Fee structure of the exam according to their categories is explained here:-

  • The fee can be paid online only. Pay the application fee using the Debit/Credit card or Net Banking.

Application Procedure

The procedure of how to apply for this exam are described here as follows:-

  • Visit jceceb.cbtexam.in and find the link to apply for JCECE. Click on the link and you are redirected to a new page
  • Read the instructions carefully and proceed to fill the application form
  • Fill the personal details such as Name, Gender, category etc. Also, enter the correct 13 digits Aadhaar Number in the form
  • After that mention your academic and communication details.
  • Choose a password and a security question to create a login. Submit the details after verifying them.
  • Upload scanned image of passport size photo (size-100 Kb), signature (50 Kb) and left-hand thumb impression (50 Kb) in JPEG format.

Q. Can I fill in the off-line application form ?
A. There is no printed or off-line Application form. So you can not fill off-line application form for this exam.

 

Q. Can I filled more than one application from?
A. No, Applicants are allowed to submit only one Application form with fee (online / challan). More than one application i.e. multiple Applications from a candidate will be rejected.

 

Q. Is it necessary to send the filled in application form to the official address?
A. No

 

Q. Can I correct the mistakes made by me?
A. No changes will be allowed once the application form will be submitted.

 

Q. Is the application fee is refundable?
A. No, the application fee is non-refundable.

 

Q. What is the application fee?
A. The application fee is different for all subject groups. You can check above the application fee according to your category.

 

Q. What is JCECE syllabus?
A. It will contain the 12th academic syllabus. The question paper will be prepared from the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects.

  • JCECE Admit card.
  • JCECE ID proof while appearing for the exam. 
  • Class X and XII mark sheet & admit card along with Passing Certificate.
  • Caste certificate, Counseling letter & Income Certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • The Dependency certificate issued by the competent Army Officer.
  • 01 postcard & 06 passport size photographs.
  • The Discharge Certificate (if applicable) IPension Book (only applicable to those who wish to claim seat under SMQ Quota).
