Age is a just a number says a truism. Achievers can be from all age groups – child prodigies, achievers in their teens, middle-aged crew or even senior citizens. All those successful people have proven that age doesn’t matter for them as long as their passion and perseverance keep them going. This Post is about a child prodigy who at the age of 6 started designing various types of websites and by the age of 11 started her own company to be listed as one of the youngest CEOs of the globe. Sreelakshmi Suresh was not born in an affluent family to be considered as Y-Generation kid with accessibility to all modern gadgets in fingertips. Though she was born in a middle-class family her curiosity to meddle with computers encouraged her parents to give hands-on sessions in computers. At the age of 3 she learned computers, and by the age of 6, she could design her first ever website. She has been recognized with various awards and has started two companies TinyLogo and eDesign at the age of 11 to be identified as one of the youngest CEOs of the globe.

Sreelakshmi Suresh was born in the year 1998 at Kozhikode (Calicut) in the state of Kerala as the daughter of Mr. Suresh Menon and Mrs. Viju Suresh. Sreelakshmi started meddling with computers at the age of 3 and started designing at the age of 4 and came up with her first website at the age of 6. This girl attends a school called Presentation Higher Secondary School which was inaugurated in the year 2007 and didn’t have a proper website. It was Sreelakshmi who took the initiative to design a web portal to her school and came up with a very good design.

“Computer was my best friend from my early childhood. When I heard about a boy who developed a website and my parents told me that I can also do the same, That was when I decided to step into the world of web designing. When I was 3 years old, I used to draw pictures using MS Paint program in Computer. I gradually learned typing alphabets and started studying web designing. In 4th class, I was entrusted with the work of developing a website for my school,”

Sreelakshmi’s passion for web designing gained her huge recognition across the globe by the year 2006. She was awarded youngest web designer at age of 6 and youngest CEO, for starting companies at age of 11 along with various youngsters like Harli Jordean who is considered as the “World’s Youngest CEO” at age 8 by some sources, and Ajay Puri considered as the “World’s Youngest Web Designer” at age 3. Whether she is the first youngster to achieve the feat is immaterial considering her accomplishments of designing nearly 20 fully functional websites with her companies TinyLogo and eDesign.

Sreelakshmi Suresh is an Entrepreneur. No one can deny the fact that entrepreneurship plays a key role in the economic and industrial development of the country. In order to become a successful entrepreneur, one does not need to acquire a higher educational degree. Entrepreneurship happens out of the ability to take risks and execute innovative ideas. “Truth be told, education has no role in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is all about the idea, innovation, and the innate ability to execute it,” concludes Bukkapatnam.
